What's in a Heel?

Generally, choice of heels in dance shoes is reflective of styles of dance. Stiletto for tango, block for Ceroc, flare for latin  and contour for ballroom are some examples of heel trends. For men, it’s generally cuban heels for latin and low heels for everything else.

That said, personal choices are not set in concrete unless prescribed by dance associations for specific purposes. Comfort and style are key to making suitable heel choices, determined by heel height and base width. GlamourDance caters for your choice of heels in your preferred shoe style to fit various dance styles.

Lastly, adding heel protectors to the heel tips will ensure the tips are not worn down, whilst also making a difference to improved dancing and personal safety through better grip on the floor. Heel protectors also ensure pristine dance floors remain unscratched.

GlamourDance stocks a huge range of heel protectors for most heels.
